The reason why it’s our Orchid of the Week:
This week’s Orchid of the Week is a lovely orange colour still widely available. Quite popular with the backyard enthusiast it is a classic modern round shape from two well known and good breeding parents. It has a nice red lip and looks great when grown well, and multi spiking on upright spikes.
There are already 15 registered offspring from Harbour City, so it is popular with breeders.

Looking back at the original species ancestors of this plant, using Orchid Roots Cym. insigne, Cym. lowianum and Cym. eberneum are the major contributors present in the distant background.
